Uprights / downlows is a temporary public intervention that brings different understandings of migration into dialogue. By inserting new bodies into one of Ireland's most recognisable public memorials, it invites reflection on how histories of displacement are remembered, how contemporary migration is perceived, and how public monuments acquire new meanings as the societies around them change.
